QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR aims to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. This 90-minute training will educate you to recognize suicide warning signs and empower you to act quickly to make a positive difference in the lives of those around you. Shifting the Lens: Real Film, Real Talk

Experience the power of local storytelling at this immersive lunchtime screening and dialogue event! Presented by the Youth Documentary Academy and Rocky Mountain PBS, the program features four short documentaries by young adult filmmakers exploring vital themes of mental health, immigration and aging. Following the films, join the directors and film subjects for intergenerational “pod conversations” hosted within the GOCA gallery and facilitated by the UCCS Department of Social Work. Trevor Wallace: The Alpha Beta Male

Fungi Film Festival

The Fungi Film Fest is the world’s only film festival dedicated to the beauty, otherworldliness and human influences of mushrooms, lichens and micro fungi. Join us on March 8 at the Ent Center for the Arts for the Colorado Springs premiere of the 2025 Fungi Film Fest! This one-day screening features 14 mushroom and mycelium-inspired short films by filmmakers from around the world. Total run time of 125 minutes.
