QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR aims to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. This 90-minute training will educate you to recognize suicide warning signs and empower you to act quickly to make a positive difference in the lives of those around you. This is only possible if you apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT). The application and rules are somewhat complex, so it is important (and required) that you attend an OPT workshop if you plan to apply.

2026 Lunar New Year Festival

The Colorado Springs Chinese Cultural Institute rings in the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse, with Lion Dances, Chinese Acrobats, Asian Dancers, Taiko Drummers, Kung Fu and Martial Arts Performers! Walk through our Tea House and Chinese Marketplace. There will be something for children and adults. And Asian food trucks complete the experience. The general festival is free to attend; the theater events at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. are ticketed and paid. Seating is general admission. Select the number of tickets you’d like to purchase below. Tickets are free for children under 5. Child must sit on lap for the duration of the performance. All seats require a ticket.
