Applications are now open for the 2027 Leadership Pikes Peak (LPP) Signature Program, an initiative that prepares participants to lead collaboratively and become catalysts for positive change throughout the Pikes Peak region.
Leadership Pikes Peak is looking for outstanding individuals who are ready to strengthen their leadership and deepen their impact across the Pikes Peak region. Applicants who demonstrate strong leadership potential, care deeply about the Pikes Peak region and want to expand their community connections and influence while growing personally and professionally are a great fit for the LPP program and its mission.
“The Leadership Pikes Peak Signature Program was transformative in every way, and I made friendships and bonds that benefit me both personally and professionally,” said Executive Director of Peak Parent Center Michele Williers.
Through this ten-month experiential leadership program, participants develop a deeper understanding of the community while strengthening their leadership skills through professional assessments, community engagement, behind-the-scenes experiences and meaningful connections with regional leaders across multiple sectors. The program begins in September 2026 and includes full-day experiential learning sessions approximately once a month through June 2027, along with an orientation and an overnight retreat. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive a digital badge and become Leadership Pikes Peak Community Trustees, joining a network of over 2,500 leaders committed to strengthening the Pikes Peak region.
“The Leadership Pikes Peak Signature Program stands out as the premier leadership program in the region, offering unparalleled community engagement opportunities and insightful, amazing tours that truly showcase the heart of our community,” said Deb Mynatt, Lieutenant in the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. “The program’s commitment to fostering strong leadership skills and deepening connections within the community is unmatched. I highly recommend the Leadership Pikes Peak Signature Program to anyone looking to grow as a leader and make a meaningful impact in our community.”
Apply for the Leadership Pikes Peak Signature Program online. In addition to the application, applicants will need to submit two letters of recommendation from supervisors, colleagues, or community leaders. These individuals should address the applicant’s leadership abilities and current/potential for community impact.
