Shoutout to Sarah Mensch for her incredible work on the 2025 Campus & Workplace Climate (CWC) Survey! She didn’t just launch a survey—she made the results easy to explore, understand, and use, helping campus leaders turn feedback into action. Thanks to Sarah’s thoughtful approach and collaboration, UCCS is better equipped to understand and improve our campus climate and sense of belonging.

To: Kerisa Brown and Kimberly Knourek
From: Jay Hubert

Kerisa and Kimberly are outstanding academic advisors who have always gone above and beyond in helping our COMM students, and they deserve weekly kudos for the heroics they regularly perform for our students. I wanted to give them a special shoutout though for demonstrating an immense amount of support for our Digital Filmmaking students by attending two of our end-of-semester screenings. Both of the screenings were four hours long, and one of them was off campus at night, so I think that level of participation goes to show just how much they care and support our students. Thank you, Kerisa and Kimberly. You guys are the best!
