UCCS Air Force ROTC cadets from Detachment 105A had an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a C-130 incentive flight with the Peterson Space Force Base MAFFS Reserve unit on April 8.
This hands-on experience gave cadets a firsthand look at what life is like in both Active Duty and Reserve aviation units. From stepping aboard the aircraft to witnessing operations in action, cadets were able to connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world Air Force missions.
Opportunities like this are more than just a ride, they’re a chance to inspire, motivate and prepare the next generation of Air Force leaders. Seeing the professionalism, teamwork and precision of the MAFFS crew in action left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
