Come join the Office of Sustainability for our Recycling Systems Tour in honor of Earth Month! This tour highlights how our community’s recyclables are collected, sorted, processed and prepared for market essential steps in supporting a cleaner and more sustainable future. Students will get a behind‑the‑scenes look inside Waste Management’s Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)! You’ll see how mixed recycling is separated using advanced machinery and hands‑on sorting, learn about contamination challenges and gain insight into what really happens after recyclables leave your bin. Steve Martin’s long-running off-Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. Romeo and Juliet

These violent delights have violent ends. A love story as old as time—but never quite like this. In honor of Theatreworks’ very first Shakespeare production in 1976, we return to Romeo and Juliet with a bold and thrilling new staging directed by Max Shulman (An Iliad, Free-for-All: Pericles, Henry IV & V) in his first directorial outing as Theatreworks’ Artistic Director. Passion, violence and poetry collide in Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy, proving that the story of star-crossed lovers remains as urgent and relevant as ever.
