ROAR Days: Petals with Purpose
Monday, April 6 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | UCCS
Petals with Purpose is an interactive and reflective event where students are invited to create their own bouquet using flowers that represent different shared values within the UCCS community. Each flower will symbolize a value such as leadership, kindness, resilience, community, or growth. As students select flowers that resonate with them, they will build a personalized bouquet that represents the values they carry with them during their time at UCCS.

ROAR Days: A Night at the Newroz Bazaar
Monday, April 6 from 6 – 10 p.m. | Upper Plaza
Newroz Bazaar Night is a cultural event celebrating Middle Eastern and Kurdish traditions through a bazaar-style experience with interactive stalls. Each stall highlights a different aspect of culture, such as food, music, crafts and history, allowing students to learn through hands-on experiences. Attendees will also receive small cultural items or tokens to take home. The event celebrates the traditions of Newroz while promoting cultural awareness, community connection and appreciation for diversity on campus.

Air Academy 250th Celebration Concert

The United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chorale and Air Academy High School Choirs are joining together to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Joined by the United States Air Force Academy Band, Cadet Orchestra, and Air Academy H.S musicians, singers celebrate musical traditions from around the country, illuminating the broad and diverse musical landscape that coalesces into our American tradition.
Heller 2026 Fellowship Series

This residency presents an opportunity to test collaboration techniques and document successful efforts. For instance, Mr. Frye proposes mapping native American settlements and territories in 1775, including in Colorado and other places not yet designated as territories. Romeo and Juliet

These violent delights have violent ends. A love story as old as time—but never quite like this. In honor of Theatreworks’ very first Shakespeare production in 1976, we return to Romeo and Juliet with a bold and thrilling new staging directed by Max Shulman (An Iliad, Free-for-All: Pericles, Henry IV & V) in his first directorial outing as Theatreworks’ Artistic Director. Passion, violence, and poetry collide in Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy, proving that the story of star-crossed lovers remains as urgent and relevant as ever.
