General Updates
• The University Budget Advisory Committee (UBAC) held a meeting yesterday, February 18. The recording is available online.
• The Frequently Asked Question section of the Healthy Campus Initiative website has been updated with more than 40 new questions. The feedback webform remains open and the FAQ will continue to be updated weekly.
• The Office of Strategic Initiatives is currently conducting the analysis of the Healthy Campus Feedback survey and curating a report that reflects the over 650 recommendations provided in the survey. Thank you for providing these insights, recommendations, and feedback. The full analysis and report will be shared in the coming weeks.
Awards
• Brooks Robinson in the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience recently received an award from the Pedersen Foundation for $295,975, supporting a project entitled “Clinical Innovation Research Center for Veteran and First Responder Trauma.”
• Grant Clayton and Patrick McGuire recently received a National Science Foundation (NSF) award for $351,262 supporting their project entitled “Collaborative Research: Improving Teacher Retention and Effectiveness through Knowledge Sharing (iTREKS): Studying STEM Teachers in High Need Schools across a Community of Practice.”
