Visiting Artists & Critics Series: Nina Elder

The first VACS of 2026 is with exhibiting artist and researcher, Nina Elder! Elder creates projects that reveal humanity’s dependence on, and interruption of, the natural world. With a focus on changing cultures and ecologies, Nina advocates for collaboration, fostering relationships between institutions, artists, scientists and diverse communities. Where We Stand – Theatreworks

In the poetic one-person play “Where We Stand”, a storyteller presents a haunting contemporary parable that invites the audience to participate in a communal reckoning. Directed by Marisa D.
