Since I was admitted in summer, I completed an online orientation and didn’t have a true first impression of UCCS until my first advising appointment with Daniel. Because I’ve taken courses at a handful of institutions, I’ve worked with several advisors. I genuinely feel Daniel has been the most invested in my academic journey. We’ve already had several appointments and a reliable, consistent communication through email. I was afraid of being a high maintenance student, but he makes me feel perfectly comfortable to ask any and all questions I might have. His ability to multitask and be aware of many things at once is seriously impressive. I feel 100% confident in beginning my UCCS journey because of the detailed attention and investment Daniel offers- all with a friendly and warm, yet professional attitude.
