Opioid Overdose Response and Narcan Training
Monday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | University Center – 2nd floor table near Big Cat Coffee
Join the Wellness Center for a tabling event on the dangers of opioid overdose and the role fentanyl plays. Those who stop by will be trained on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and have access to a free naloxone (Narcan) kit and fentanyl testing strips.
You, Me and the Courts – Judicial Networking Event

Trans Day of Remembrance and Resilience

Join us in a powerful afternoon of reflection, creation and community as we observe Trans Day of Remembrance and Resilience. Together, we will honor the lives of trans people lost to violence. This event will include a community art project where participants can contribute messages, symbols and tributes that speak to both grief and resilience. We’ll also hold a facilitated discussion focused on the systemic issues behind anti-trans violence, centering the voices and experiences of trans women of color. Throughout the evening, we will share notes of love, affirmation and solidarity for our trans community. This is a space for mourning, for resistance and for celebrating the enduring strength and beauty of trans lives. Snacks and food will be provided.

3 Year Mark of the Tragedy of Club Q

On the third year mark of the Club Q tragedy, we gather in remembrance, reflection and resilience. While not all of us knew Club Q personally, we honor its legacy as a space of joy, freedom and chosen family for the LGBTQ+ community in Colorado Springs. Together, we’ll paint Stars of Hope with QSA—bright, personal messages of love and solidarity—to carry forward the spirit of Club Q. The evening will feature shared stories that celebrate the laughter, dance and community that filled its walls, reminding us that its light lives on in memory and action with guests from the United Court of Pikes Peak Empire. Snacks and food will be provided!

UCCS Hacking Training

Join us for the first-ever UCCS Hacking Training. Xi Tan, Ph.D will lead an informal session where she will train UCCS students on cybersecurity basics. Each Friday will cover a different topic and then we’ll get hands-on in the Cyber Lab. Topics will include basic networking concepts and network elements, understanding binary reverse engineering, basic hacking tools and concepts, understanding cryptographic elements and more.
