Q&A with CU Cybersecurity Leaders

Bystander Intervention Workshop

Sick of Being Sick: Herbal Immunity Boosters

UCCSlead Cyber-Security Game Changer

UCCSlead Cybersecurity Game Changer is a half-day transformational leadership experience open to all UCCS-affiliated undergraduate and graduate students, no matter their discipline or classification. In small groups with industry professionals from Deloitte, students will learn who they are as leaders, gain fundamental leadership skills and take first steps to cultivating their personal brand of leadership. This Game Changer features an exclusive fireside chat and Q&A with an executive from Deloitte’s Colorado Springs office. Additionally, students will receive UCCSlead swag, free food, a leadership certificate and a graduation cord.

UCCS Hacking Training

Join us for the first ever UCCS Hacking Training. Xi Tan, Ph.D., will lead an informal session where she will train UCCS students on cybersecurity basics. Each Friday will cover a different topic and then we’ll get hands-on in the Cyber Lab. Topics will include basic networking concepts and network elements, understanding binary reverse engineering, basic hacking tools and concepts, understanding cryptographic elements and more.

Trivia Night

Pikes Peak Zine Festival

Pikes Peak Zine Fest is a small press event happening annually in Colorado Springs. Our mission is to share the joy of expression through self-publishing, promote diversity and inclusion within our community and support our local artists. The Kraemer Family Library teams up with PPZF to hold the festival on UCCS’ campus, in Berger Hall. Admission is free and masking is encouraged.

Visiting Author Series

Join the Heller Center as they welcome Ashley Cornelius, the Pikes Peak Poet Laureate. The evening will include a reading from Translations from the Soul, followed by a Q&A session and book signing. This event is free and open to the public.
