Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, Communications, and Engagement search launches

The search has begun for the university’s next Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, Communications, and Engagement (VCUACE). This leadership role will shape and strengthen UCCS’s fundraising, alumni engagement, communications and external partnerships while working collaboratively across campus to enhance the university’s reputation and long-term success. 

The search will be conducted internally, without the assistance of an external executive search firm, ensuring a cost-effective, transparent process that leverages the expertise of our UCCS community. 

Tentative Search Timeline: 
Kickoff Meeting: March 6, 2025 
Recruitment Phase: March 6 – March 28, 2025 
Initial Interviews: March 31 – April 11, 2025 
Final Interviews: April 21 – May 2, 2025 
Finalist Selection and Announcement: May 5 – May 16, 2025
