I would like to recognize Bridget for going above and beyond to coordinate multiple important donor scholarship lunches during my extended absence. She accepted this big responsibility with willingness, grace, and an ability to get things done with the high quality. I am so grateful for her assistance professionally and personally during this time. It is particularly impressive that she is so able to handle this task since she is so new to UCCS. Thanks to her willingness to step up, these lunches have gone on without much delay, which is so important for our college. Thank you, Bridget.
To: Cindy Rupp
From: Lori Holt
Cindy is one of the few executive staff for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences that are working on campus. Because many of her counterparts work remote, Cindy is the person who is asked to do the ‘running’ from Univ Hall to the Central campus for distribution and pick up from OIT, Bursars office, Hybl and/or Lane Center. She takes a significant amount of time from her duties to help out those who are not on the campus, to make sure that everyone’s job is completed.

Krista has been the Director of Apps and my supervisor for a few years now and she has made a significant impact of the quality of my work life and feeling valued at UCCS. If I have an issue at work, internal or external, I know I can go to her for advice and she will be there for me and help me find the best solution, all with respect and kindness. I am grateful to have her as a supervisor and role model as a female IT professional.

Krista went above and beyond to support staff from multiple departments when asked to complete a task and also supported individuals when presented with challenges outside of the scope of designated roles. It was so good to know that Krista was present and could offer the help she did.

Krista has been invaluable in her position as Director of Applications. Her support, encouragement, and engagement in our projects – especially throughout a very intense year – has been worth its weight in gold and helped us meet important deadlines. She continually fosters a wonderful work environment which positively impacts our day-to-day and she doesn’t hesitate to make time for us when we need it. Krista is a joy to work with and for and absolutely deserves some Kudos!

To: Rocco Caputo

Rocco did a great job helping me set up the AV equipment for the EAS College Meeting and was very pleasant to work with. He got us prepared with PowerPoint, clicker, and microphones. He stayed during the beginning of the event to make sure we were all set. A third into the meeting, our Dean and Chancellor Staff requested a second microphone to give to folks in the audience. I reached out to Rocco on Teams to see if it was possible to get one. He immediately responded saying it was possible and brought one right over. He went above and beyond to make our event go smoother by accommodating this unexpected request. Thank you Rocco!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the review of submissions and success of the qualification data project. Your hard work, dedication, and collaborative spirit have been truly inspiring. Each of you has played a crucial role in making this project a success, and the compensation task force project lead team is deeply grateful for your efforts. Brittani, Mike, and Shari stepped up in a big way to coordinate and execute the Feb 6 EAS Open House while I was out of office for an extended time. I understand the event went really well. I am so grateful to them for doing so much above and beyond their regular duties to keep things running smoothly and continuously in my absence. They have also gone out of their way to support me professionally and personally. I am so grateful to have them on my team!

My co-workers, Denise and Debbie, are the most wonderful co-workers I have ever had. They are both incredibly supportive, always kind, always helpful, and always have a positive (and fun) attitude. They both go above and beyond to support our UCCS Nursing students on a daily basis. They truly care about our Nursing program and the success of the students. Kudos and thank you to both of them for being so great to work with!
